Quito Kinky Film Fest, is a non competitive showcase dedicated to erotic cinema. The QKFF will take place in Quito-Ecuador, in October 2009. We seek to explore the different conceptions of eroticism in cinema through different cultural, social, political and economic views. We are not searching for mere pornography, but for works that try to define eroticism as a process of aesthetic and social exploration and appropriation of the human body.
Our showcase is open to professionals and non professionals in several different categories. Because of its social and cultural nature, we do not except exclusively pornographic material, neither will we accept works that praise violence against anyone.
RULES & REGULATIONS

There is no limit on the date of production. All production made before 1980 will enter into the “Classics” category.
Format:
The exhibition format will be DVD. We accept PAL or NTSC.

Warnings:
- There are no refunds. Any defective video will be automatically disqualified without a refund.
- The festival is not responsible for the wrongful use of the films by the authors or third parties.
- All submitted videos participate. There is NO preselection process.
- In the case of a technical tie ( in total points ), the winners will share the prize in equal portions.
- Films cannot have participated in previous editions of this festival.
- The festival reserves the right to use the films partially or completely in order to promote the event.
- Videos will not be returned under any circumstance.
Registration procedure:
1. Send the Entry Form below.
2. Print and sign the Entry Form (Word Version) and include it in your registration package with your video, and payment or payment receipt. On the envelope or customs statement you must write NO COMMERCIAL VALUE - FOR CULTURAL PURPOSES ONLY.
3. (Optional) Send a photo of minimum 300 dpi, maximum 10 x 15 cm (4 x 6 inches), in digital format for promotional purposes.

The Festival Directory will establish the order and date of exhibition of each film. Once the film is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn from the contest. Contestants will not know previously the date or time when their film will be shown.
